Hi

I have just started another new website (you might see a theme here). I have started a site specialising in Sports Bras. As usual I have tried to find the best sports bras for large breasts and large back sizes.

I thought it might be worth starting a specialised shop - particularly as we all make a bit of effort to burn off the excesses of Christmas and New Year.

I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to make sure you are wearing a good quality sports bra - even for light recreational sports.

Obviously - as with all of my sites - I only stock good quality well constructed sports bras - you can be confident in the support and protection you will get from all of the ones I stock.

Remember, unlike most websites, I rarely stock all the bras by a particular manufacturer - I choose the ones I think are the best - and stick to those.

I have a range that includes Anita Sports Bras and Shock Absorber Sports Bras.

New Thermal Underwear Shop

I have just started up a new webshop, specialising in thermal underwear. With the nights drawing in, and a real chill to the air - why not treat yourself to some luxurious underwear that will really keep you warm.

I carry two main ranges - the first is one from Sangora Angora Underwear a German brand specialising in Angora wool. This is the finest lightest natural fiber you can get and has great insulating properties.

The second is Bella Di Notte Merino Wool Thermals, a UK brand. All the garments are designed in the UK and manufactured in Italy - some surprisingly attactive items.

Elomi for Bigger Bras

I have just added two more gorgeous big back / large cup bras to my range. They are both by Elomi (part of Eveden - the company responsible for Fantasie and Freya).

The first is the Elomi Abi an underwired bandless bra. It comes in back sizes 36-44 and cup sizes from E all the way up to JJ - making it one of the largsest cup bras I sell. It comes in a gorgeous fawn colour with scalloped embroidery.

The second is the Elomi Caitlyn a stylish and supportive soft cup bra. It is available in back sizes 36-48 and cup sizes B to G. There is also an underwired version - I will be adding this to the range shortly. It comes in black and pearl and is lovely and feminine featuring Austrian embroidery on the cups.

Stars Underlines Awards - Betty and Belle win National Best Lingerie Shop Award

Amazing news....

We came top in the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards !!!

We went down to the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards ceremony last Thursday (this is the main award ceremony for lingerie shops in the UK and Ireland).

It was a great night - and we met loads of really lovely people - all trying to do their best to help women of all shapes and sizes. It was really lovely to be with so many kindred spirits.

Out of all the lingerie shops in the UK - over 360 were short-listed for an award . We were absolutely delighted to be awarded the prize for "Excellence and Outstanding Achievement in 2011" .

This award is particularly special for us, as it was decided upon by a public vote. I would like to thank everyone who took the trouble to vote for us - it is really sincerely appreciated.

I could not believe it when our name was read out - I was in a bit of a daze. It capped off a fantastic night, and I am so pleased for my little team back at the shop. Every single one of them is a dream to work with - so thanks Bende, Sue, Sarah, and Sophie.

Best Lingerie Shop in the UK

I have now updated my range of Sports Bras and will continue to do so over the coming weeks.

I have decided to ensure that I cater for ladies with a larger bust and have tried to focus on those bras which are "mechanically" designed to support your breasts. On this basis I have included:

Royce Sports Bras

I am particularly delighted with with the Anita Range, as although this brand is not particularly well known in the UK (they are one of Geramy's largest lingerie brands) they make some great technical bras.

Mastectomy Breast Forms

Hi everyone

I have created a new website called Mastectomy Breast Forms, where I provide the largest selection of breast forms of any site in the world (or at least I haven't found a site with any more).

I have chosen the best Trulife Breast Forms, Amoena Breast Forms and Anita Breast Forms.

I have also tried to keep my prices at the lowest levels on the internet.

As the NHS provides the first breast form for free, this site is more designed for those ladies who are looking for something different from the prosthesis, or who don't wish to return to hospital. As a result I have more lightweight and "cooling" breast forms than the traditional ones.

We will be donating £1 for every bra fitting - fashion and mastectomy bras - throughout the month of October to the Genesis Appeal which is the only UK charity entirely dedicated topreventing breast cancer.

It has taken us a while to develop, but we have finally launched our new on-line shop (www.bettyandbelle.co.uk). We hope you notice a difference as we designed it to be softer and more feminine, as well as being easier to use.

Its a tough but very rewarding job setting up on your own in business, but we think we have hit on something really special. We both love it, as its something dear to our hearts, and we can't really describe the sense of fulfilment our customers give us every day.
